Travel...

I LO-O-O-O-V-E the Kaisercraft Travel range {Pack Your Bags}....everything about it is just gorgeous! The papers are perfects for any travel page - a week-end away or an overseas journey...the rub-ons {colour & black&white} are beautiful and the brads just sooooooooooo pretty....

A few close-up photos of the details on this page:
I used the embroidered badge on this page...also part of the Pack Your Bags range..

And here I have used Kaisercraft paper and rub-ons to add a little detail to the layout.

I am a font junkie and just love this 'travel' word. I inked the chipboard word in dark brown and then I sprayed the word with glimmer mist...

Be sure to find some 'pack your bags'-goodies and enjoy scrapping those travel moments!

Christmas cards inspiration...

Herewith a few Christmas cards from Kaisercraft paper ranges....

For this card I've used the Belle Collection from Kaisercraft and the QuicKutz 4x8 font that I have used is called 'Holiday'. The flowers are Kaisercraft and the flower centre is from Prima.

I have also used the Belle Collection for this card. It is so fun and easy to make little Christmas baubles....just use a circle punch to punch them out in the sizes that you want..! Decorate with a gel pen and a few bits of bling... Then add matching ribbon. The QuicKutz fonts {4x8} used:'Harvest'& 'Chemistry'.

The next two cards are both from the Christmas Carnival Collection:

These cards are just super easy to make....you can make all your Christmas cards in one evening!

More Kaisercraft goodness...

I have been a busy girl with all my Kaisercraft DT projects...and can now share some of my pages on my blog, seeing that Kaisercraft has already used them on their blog...
A boy page with the REWIND COLLECTION:
I love this photo of Reinecke...he just "LOVED" himself and couldn't understand why we had to wash his face before bedtime!!LOL!!

This is a busy page, but with the bigger photo that I have used, the focus is still on the photo!

And this is a girly, best friends, page with the Lilac Avenue paper from Kaisercraft:

The paper is sooooooooooooo beautiful, you do not want to stick anything onto it....!

With the same range {Lilac Avenue} a party invitation......

I just could not resist to add a touch of "fake" stitching to the invitation...

I will soon upload some more Kaisercraft inspiration!

Happy Scrapping!

Jingle Bells...

A layout of mine that Kaisercraft used on their blog today....I love this picture of Liani as a little angel in a Christmas concert.
I used the Kaisercraft Q2 Christmas Carnival collection...a gorgeous range for scrapping little children's Christmas photos.
The new embellishment packs that Kaisercraft added to their ranges are just stunning...! From this embellishment pack I used the buttons and the star stickers...they are so beautiful!

Thank you for looking.

Saturday Sketch on Kaisercraft Blog

Today you'll find this page of mine on the Kaisercraft Blog - Saturday Sketch...using the Kaisercraft REWIND collection.
You will find the sketch in the Kaisercraft Q2 Magazine on pg 21 - Simple Plan Q2-6 or on this Kaisercraft Blog post.

I love the Rewind Collection for boy-pages...such stunning colours and design.
For this layout I used the following products from the REWIND collection:
P431/Volume paper
P433/Playlist paper
P432/Remote paper
P434/Fast Forward paper
CS731/Clear Stamp - Rewind
EM906/Embellishment Pack
BD406/Brad pack
DC306/Die Cut Elements
AS206/Alpha Stickers
CB108/Chipboard Alpha 2
RB817/Boy Zone Rub-ons
RB822/Boyz Border Rub-ons

One technique that I love to use is fake stitching and worked really well on this page for the circles.
Lots of the pattern on the page was stamped with the clear stamps from the Rewind Collection using the matching inks from the same range. These stamps are just gorgeous and you can use them over and over for scrapbook pages.

Thank you for looking!

This week-end it feels as if we are heading towards summer....as yesterday and today has been absolute gorgeous and sunny! We had a huge storm in the week....with winds up to 125km/h...if not more!....the strongest wind ever recorded in our "windy city"...no wonder Port Elizabeth is known to be the windy city! Everywhere trees were blown over {I also lost one in my own garden}....one feels so small when you can see just how strong the elements can be! And branches from trees are strewn all over and roof tiles have been blown off and here and there even walls have been blown over....
Well, as I am "writing" this post, I can hear the wind picking up outside...hope we are not in for another storm tonight!

Thank you for visiting and happy scrapping!
