SCRAP AFRICA CHALLENGE #12

I have been really absent while renovating and building at my house....and sadly the end is not yet in sight......and we will have to finish in the new year as the builders will only be working until 21 Dec...
I am sooooooo frustrated after 4 and a half months of building and renovating...and dust dust dust and more dust everywhere....:-/ I do not even have a clean enough space at the moment to put up our Christmas tree....{SIGH!!!!}

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE... I am slowly moving into my newly built scraproom - YAY!
But part of this room will also only be completed in the new year... :-/
At least I will be able to start moving in and be able to work in the room over the holidays :-D

HEREWITH THE SCRAP AFRICA CHALLENGE #12 - FILMSTRIP:

Herewith my take on the challenge:

This is the first layout made in my still very chaotic new scrap room :-)

While unpacking a few boxes I have discovered lots of stuff that I have nearly forgotten about and used some on this layout...the LARGE "A" {a for adventure} from a very old chipboard letter set, and the beautiful Making Memories glitter letters...also from many years ago ;-)

Paper: Making Memories - Passport Collection
Flowers: Making Memories - Passport Collection
Covered brads: Making Memories - Passport Collection
Tiny Paper clip: Tim Holtz
Resin flower: Webster's Pages

I really like it how you used the filmstrip to frame your photos. This allows you to use a lot of pictures in one layout without the page looking too crowded.
I have also created a layout for the challenge, have a look and if you like my page, you can join my site:) http://paperscrapsandscissors.blogspot.be/
Happy 2013, Andrea
