I altered the amount of photos to fit what I wanted to scrap.

And I clustered the photos together instead of having 

them in a loose formation on the layout.

I love the outcome ... as this was such a rainy day in Dublin...

and it made taking pics a mission...LOL...

LET'S SCRAP SKETCH

This is the sketch for the week at Let's Scrap...

I took me a really long time to get the inspiration to make this sketch work...LOL!

BUT when I got the idea to make a page for my daughter with one pic from every year of her life, it all just came together!

My take on the sketch:

...to me this is a work in progress...

I am thinking about adding some stickles or glaze to the wording...

and I am still contemplating how I am going to add either the age or year to each photo..??

herewith my take on the sketch:

I am so glad that I finally scrapped these photos!

The pics were taken at the Port Elizabeth Dance Festival in 2010.

I had to really adjust the saturation on the "face" pic. Her make-up made her look like a halloween pumpkin... sooooooo orange...LOL! But with all the make-up they look so "different".... all the pics look funny to me.... :-/

When I saw all the hearts on the sketch I thought 

that this is so NOT me...but I love how the layout came together..

This layout looks so empty because of all the "white"...but that is SNOW!

Nothing I could do to make that look less empty...LOL!

These are the only photos that we have of ourselves on the training slopes.

These were the good days....before they let us loose on the "real" slopes....

I am sure it will take another holiday or two to get me comfortable with skiing...

Ski training at my age was most possibly not the best idea ever...LOL!

...but even with saying that...I WILL go back for more! {smile}
