LET'S SCRAP SKETCH 4-11-12

I had so much fun with this week's sketch...

I took these pics at an Outdoor Expo of my children on a man-made snow slope.

They sooooo enjoyed the ride!

This is one of the most simplistic layouts that I have made in a long time...

As we do not have snow around here, I do not have any snow embellishments..

..and not even snow themed paper... :-/

I therefor got out my Silhouette and cut out the beautiful snowflakes featured on this layout.

As well as the "LET IT SNOW" wording.

I even made a few 3D snowflakes ... and LOVE them :-D

The large snowflake on the left hand side page is a hidden journaling block 

that slides in under the photo...

This is also the sketch that the new DT members used to 

apply for their positions on the Design Team.

This is the layout I made with this sketch:

I kept my layout very simplistic...as always...to keep the focus on the photos...

I searched high and low for a title...as this is always a problem for me... 

And again my Silhouette saved the day...I got this beautiful title from the silhouette store, 

downloaded it and quickly cut it to add the perfect title to this page..:-D

I just love these pictures and were glad that I could capture these 

precious memories on a special layout...

This layout also "won" me another term on the Let's Scrap design team.

I am very excited about this and know that all the "old" and new DT members 

will make a great team! Congrats again to all the new DT members - enjoy the ride!

Herewith the layout that I submitted to Let's Scrap for the DT call....

And this is the sketch from Let's Scrap that I had to work with...such a versatile sketch!

I used the photo sizes and the same placement of photos. And changed the placement of the title slightly to fit my theme and style of scrapbooking.

I added in some bling and inkables from Prima.
